One person has reportedly died while five persons sustained various degrees of injuries in an accident which occurred on Monday in Osun.
The Hope Metro gathered that the accident involved a bus with number plate LSD 549 XX around 12:20pm at Iwaraja junction along Ilesa-Akure expressway.
It was learnt that the driver, Felix Olagbemi lost control of the wheel as a result of a busted tire.
A yet-to-be identified woman died on the spot and the corpse has been deposited at Wesley Hospital morgue, Ilesa.
The spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Agnes Ogungbemi, confirmed the accident, saying the injured victims and the corpse have been taken to Wesley Hospital in Ilesa.
It will be recalled that multiple accidents occurred on the Ilesa-Akure highway last week.
The accidents claimed lives, leaving several injured in the hospital.
