I wholeheartedly celebrate and commend His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on the occasion of his first 100 days in office. It is with great pride and admiration that I acknowledge the remarkable strides he has made in steering the affairs of Ondo State towards meaningful progress and sustainable development. Within this short period, Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated purposeful leadership and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of our people.

One of the most commendable achievements is the employment of over 2,000 teachers in both primary and secondary schools. This bold step not only enhances the standard of education in the state, but also addresses unemployment by providing jobs for many of our youths. The construction and renovation of school, is also a testament to the governor’s efforts in making learning convenient and attractive to learners. I am also deeply impressed by the reconstruction and rehabilitation of over 60 kilometers of roads across various parts of the state. This effort is already making transportation easier for our citizens and improving access to economic and social opportunities.

 In the health sector, the Governor’s intervention in upgrading 102 health centres is highly commendable. Also in the agricultural sector, the support provided for farmers is another clear sign of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s vision for food security, availability and rural development.

Furthermore, I must applaud his administration’s resolve to revive and complete several abandoned projects left behind by previous governments. Equally praiseworthy is the payment of 82.6 percent of the state’s debt, which has gone a long way in stabilising our financial system and restoring confidence in the state’s economy. Ondo State has emerged as Nigeria’s most fiscally disciplined sub-national government. His proactive approach to nipping security challenges in the bud has also brought relative peace and safety to our communities. The increase and approval of the new minimum wage for the workers is a pointer that His Excellency is workers’ friendly.

 I therefore urge all citizens of Ondo State to continue to support and pray for Governor Aiyedatiwa. Let us stand together, offer our collective cooperation, and remain hopeful as this administration continues to build a better, more prosperous future for all of us. 

Once again, I congratulate His Excellency on this milestone and look forward to even greater accomplishments in the days ahead.

Your tenure so far has yielded the fruits of intentional governance from infrastructural renewal and agricultural revitalization to youth empowerment and inclusive leadership. The lawmaker representing Odigbo Constituency 1, Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji has commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s administration for its progress in its first 100 days in office.

He noted that the governor’s 100 days in office have yielded positive results for the state’s economy.

Ifabiyi, in a statement made available to our correspondent, praised the governor’s efforts to improve transportation, including the resuscitation of shuttle bus operations for students and the ongoing Onisere road construction project.

“These initiatives will ease transportation challenges and support economic growth, he said.

The lawmaker, however, urged citizens to support the governor’s agenda by paying their taxes promptly.

“Let’s work together to make our state better by fulfilling our tax obligations,” he stated.

Ifabiyi also highlighted the progress made on key infrastructure projects, expressing optimism that Aiyedatiwa’s 100 days in office will bring about more developmental growth in the state

“The Onisere road construction, once completed, is expected to significantly reduce travel time and enhance economic activity in the area,”

“By completing these projects, the governor’s administration aims to build a stronger, more prosperous Ondo State”, he said.
