100 Days: OGO congratulates Aiyedatiwa on tribunal victory, hails new dawn in Ondo

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare, has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his resounding victory at the election tribunal, describing the judgement as a clear and decisive affirmation of the people’s mandate and the strength of Ondo’s democratic process.
Ogundare, popularly known as OGO, noted that the tribunal’s verdict has not only settled all doubts regarding the legitimacy of the governor’s election, but has also paved the way for uninterrupted governance and accelerated development in the state.
He said as Governor Aiyedatiwa marks 100 days in office, the period has been a defining moment that rekindled optimism and ushered in a new era in the state’s political and developmental landscape.
Ogundare applauded the governor’s leadership approach, highlighting his deliberate, focused and people-centred governance style that has already begun to reshape Ondo’s political and socioe-conomic environment.
He pointed out that the governor’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural renewal, human capital development, and inclusive governance has yielded visible results, with numerous projects and policy initiatives positively impacting communities across the three senatorial districts.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has brought a new style of governance to Ondo, one that values action over rhetoric. Within just 100 days, we have seen roads being constructed, schools receiving urgent attention and hospitals undergoing much-needed renovation,” Ogundare said.
He added that what sets the Aiyedatiwa administration apart is not only the speed of implementation but the intention behind every project, ensuring that the benefits reach the ordinary citizens.
“In Owo, Ilaje, Akure, and other parts of the state, citizens are beginning to experience the tangible presence of government. This government is focused on service delivery rather than politics,” the APC chieftain stressed.
Ogundare further lauded the governor’s prioritisation of workers’ welfare, youth empowerment programmes and social interventions targeted at the poor and vulnerable, describing these as clear indicators of an empathetic and accountable leadership.
“This administration has restored confidence in governance. Salaries are being paid promptly, youths are being engaged in meaningful programmes and the vulnerable are being supported,” he said.
He urged the people of Ondo State to give their unreserved backing to Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration, emphasising that the progress made in the first 100 days is merely a glimpse of what is to come.
“This is not just a change in government; it is a fundamental shift in mindset. Governor Aiyedatiwa is quietly laying a strong foundation for long-term development and it is our collective duty to support and sustain this momentum,” Ogundare concluded.
