Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, will today Friday, perform the swearing-in ceremony of the 12 new commissioners-designate.

The swearing-in and oath-taking event will hold at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office, Alagbaka, Akure, by 1.00 pm.

The State House of Assembly had earlier screened and confirmed the commissioners-designate.

Governor Aiyedatiwa had on March 27, forwarded the names of the 12 new commissioners to the Assembly for confirmation.

The commissioners-designate are; Pastor Segun Ayerin; Mr. Olaolu Akindolire; Alhaji Hamidu Takuro; Dr. Banji Ajaka; Mr. Boye Ologbese and Mr. Sunday Akinwalere.

Others include; Deaconess Lola Fagbemi; Mr. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye; Mr. Rasheed Badmus; Mr. Olayato Aribo; Mr. Adewale Akinlosotu, and Mr Gbenga Olaniyi.

With the swearing-in of the new Commissioners, the state will now have 18 commissioners.

The Governor had sworn-in six commissioners following their earlier confirmation by the Assembly.

They are; Mr. Olukayode Ajulo, SAN; Razaq Obe; Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan; Akinwumi Sowore; Mr. Oseni Oyeniyi; and Mrs. Omowumi Isaac.
