A 19-year old man, Ayobami Samson has been arraigned before an Iwaro-Oka Chief Magistrates’ Court for stealing four boxes of kiss condom, Aminute multivitamin syrup, a 32 inch Hisense television, peak milk refill and a solar battery.

The police arraigned the defendant before Magistrate B.A Ikusika on a three-count charge.

According to the prosecution, the defendant committed the offence  at Akua Quarters in Akungba-Akoko Magisterial District.

The prosecutor, Inspector Olasunkanmi Boboye told the court that the defendant with one other at large, entered the shop of one Temitope Oluwajana to steal the items.

The offences contravened Section 516 of the Criminal Code Cap. 37, Volume 1 Laws of Ondo State of Nigeria, 2006.

Boboye prayed for an adjournment to enable him study the case file.

The defendant, who had no counsel, pleaded guilty to the count when the charge was read to him.

In his ruling, Magistrate B.I Ikusika, ordered the remand of the defendant and adjourned the case till May 28, 2025.
