No fewer than 200 residents of Ondo kingdom have benefitted from the free medical treatment and consultation provided by the University of Medical Science, (UNIMED) as part of moves to ensure healthy living of the people.

The medical treatment tagged ‘You and Your Health’ was held at the Osemawe’s palace, town hall, to mark the institution’s first convocation anniversary.

The acting Dean, Students Affairs Division of the University, Dr (Mrs) Omoshalewa Osho stated this in an interview with The Hope.

Osho therefore urged Nigerians to always report changes in their health status to the nearest hospital.

On his part, a professor of Management and Entrepreneurial Studies of the institution, Olusola Williams, tasked Nigerians to prioritize regular medical checkups in order to detect underlying health conditions that can pose severe health danger if left untreated.

Beneficiaries of the treatment commended efforts of the university for the free screening, treatment and medications.

The medical treatment includes hepatitis screening, blood pressure check-up, ear treatment, eye check-up among others.
