The conduct of the 2019 general elections will be better than that of 2015 going by the logistics and preparations put in place by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The chairman of the Mega Party in Ondo State, Mr. Biyi Poroye, who stated this at a stakeholders’ meeting on the 2019 general elections expressed hope in the peaceful conduct of next year’s elections.
He said that aside the National Youth Service Corps Members, other officials of the commission to be used for the conduct of the elections should be made known to all political parties to avoid rigging.
Poroye also called on observers that would monitor the elections to be very vigilant to detect malpractices.
He appealed to the commission to make voters register available to parties to guide against figure manipulation.
The chairman said the appeal became necessary as manipulation of figures or votes have been witnessed in the previous elections.
