2019: Olurimisi tasks APC members on victory

The Ondo State Commissioner  for Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Ismaila Olurimisi, has urged the members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to work hard and intensify effort for the success of the party in both the local government and the 2019 general elections.

The commissioner gave the advice in his residence at his home town in Odigbo Local Government area of the state where  played host to all the party members in the constituency during the just concluded Eid-El-Kabir festival.

In the spirit of celebrating the festival with the members of the party,Olurimisi encouraged the members of his constituency, Ile Oluji /Okegbo to intensify their supports and work together for the victory of APC ahead of the December local government  elections in the state and the 2019 general elections.

“If I have wronged any one of you, please find a space in your heart to forgive me. Let us all come together to have one common goal, one voice to move Ile Oluji/ Okegbo constituency foward.

“Let us be a friend of all and I will support any body with good intension in our party because we must deliver in 2019.

“I want every member of the party in Ondo state to continue to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the government of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) because of his tremendous achievements in the state he said.

Speaking, a House of Representatives aspirant in the party, Mr. Festus Adefolaye commended the commissioner for his exemplary leadership role in maintaining peace and bring members of the party together as one.

He said the steadfastness of the members in the constituency was as a result of the commissioner’s leadership quality and the visionary leadership of Governor Akeredolu to transform the economy of the state.

He encouraged the people of the state to continue to support the Akeredolu led-administration for the laudable projects it has been doing in touching lives of people positively.

Also, a former State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs. Margret Akinsuroju declared her support to join hands with Olurimisi to enhance his effort in maintaining the togetherness of the party in the constituency.

She described the togetherness of the members of the party as a great development in the local government and called on the members of the party in other local government areas of the state to follow suit.

A chairmanship aspirant of the party, Hon.Takpuro Hamidu, who lauded the commissioner for the initiative said the idea was an indication of oneness among the party’s member in lle-Oluji/Okelgbo.
