2019 press monitoring: IPC appoints Moses Ojo, 5 others

Ahead 2019 general elections in Nigeria, the International Press Centre (IPC) has appointed former Assistant News Editor of The Hope Newspaper,  Mr Moses Ojo and five other journalists as field monitors on media professionals.

Ojo and others were engaged by the organisation to monitor the South West.

Towards the commencement of the three-year project, the engaged Journalists have been invited for a training to be held in Lagos between September 6 and 9, 2018.

According to a statement from IPC a copy of which was made available to Journalists, the project seeks to continue to expand the frontiers of safety of Journalists and Press freedom in the country through sensitization of Media Professionals as well as broaden the scope of monitoring and documentation of attacks on Journalists.
