2020 Tokyo Olympics: I’m ready to compete —Adegoke

Nigeria Sprinter, Enoch Adegoke has declared his readiness to compete for honour as athletics events of Tokyo Olympic Games set to take off today.
Adegoke came into reckoning after running a new World Lead of 10.16seconds (+0.8) to win the men’s 100m final at the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) All-Comers held at the Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Akure.
He also secured victory ahead of Ogho-Oghene Egwero in the men’s 100m final, winning in 10.50s in the classic events organised by AFN in Ado-Ekiti in 2020.
“I’m prepared already. I can’t just wait to get there, I’ve met most of target for 2021. Getting to the Olympics, I believe I will fulfill the rest,” he said.
Adegoke is one of the athletes Team Nigeria is looking up to secure a podium finish.
Athletics events is slated to dunk off today.
