2023 Beach Volleyball tour: Coach praises team Ondo

The head coach of Ondo State Beach Volleyball, Bolanle Akinsehinwa has commended his players for their display at the ongoing 2023 Beach Volleyball tour holding at Jabi Lake ,Abuja.

He expressed optimism that his side will remain in the professional beach Volleyball league, despite being their first participation in the league.

Akinsehinwa added that despite the harsh weather in Abuja, his players are doing  well even as a newcomer in the beach volleyball.

“I’m satisfied with their performances and the players have potential to make the state proud in future, their are lots of stars among them, they only need our encouragement.

He said: Beach volleyball is quite different from the conventional volleyball, we are presently in Pro League while others states and some clubs are in premier league.

“We hope to up our game and optimistic that we are going to be convenient on the league table in the second phase of the league scheduled for Taraba State in few months.

“As soon as we get back to Akure, we are going back to embark on aggressive grassroots discovery of players.

“We are using this medium to call on sports enthusiasts and philanthropists to help us in building a beach court in the state.”
