Ahead of next year presidential election, a public affairs analyst and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Dapo Filani, has called on all Yoruba leaders to join hands with the South-West Coordinator for Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Committee and Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, to ensure overwhelming victory for the candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He observed that the APC presidential candidate stands a better chance of winning the polls, judging by his antecedents as former Governor of Lagos State.

Filani who spoke at a forum in Akure, the Ondo State capital, also predicted a landslide victory for the APC at the polls.

He believed that the APC presidential candidate has the capacity and competence to reset the country and place it on the path of progress and as well ensure adequate security in the country.

The former Chairman, Ondo State Water Corporation equally appealed to Nigerians not to allow religion or ethnicity to divide the country but support Tinubu who has the capacity to bring positive change, saying that the APC presidential candidate has a deep knowledge of the economy and the competence to ensure a new Nigeria.

According to him, Tinubu will win more than 25 per cent of votes cast in all the PDP controlled States particularly in the South-East and South-South, while he will win landslide in the North and the South-West States.

“Tinubu will win over 80 per cent of votes in South-West. He will also will massively in Rivers State because of Governor Wike’s influence,” he asserted.

Filani specially commended the Chairman, Southern Governors’ Forum and Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, for his doggedness, courage and insistence that the South must produce the next President.

He added that the emergence of Tinubu as presidential candidate of the APC was as a result of Governor Akeredolu’s insistence on justice, equity and fairness.
