2023: Pray for credible leaders, cleric urges Nigerians

Nigerians have been admonished to have faith in God and pray ceaselessly for leaders that will turn the country around for better.

Bishop, African Church, Ondo Central Missionary Ebenezer Cathedral, Rt. Revd David Akinremi, gave the admonition yesterday during the service to celebrate the 121st Founder’s Day of the church across the country.

He urged Nigerians to be united and pray to God to make a turnaround in the country through a good leader as the general elections are near.

According to him, “the present situation we found ourselves is written in the Bible that before the coming of Jesus Christ there will be tribulation.

“We should not be surprised as a church to face challenges by praying and working with love “

The cleric encouraged Nigerians to continue  living in peace for the country to be a better place.

Akinremi enjoined the church to involve in aggressive evangelism that will promote the church of God and the name of Christ more.

The Cathedral Warden, Mrs. Stella Adeyemi, urged parents on the need to inculcate discipline in their children as the future of the country.

Adeyemi, noted that lack of truth brought the country to the present condition it is, adding that if discipline is promoted at each homes, the country will be better.
