2023: Vote for credible leaders, ignore bribe, cleric counsels Nigerians

As the 2023 general elections are around  the corner and politicians are jockeying for power, a Muslim cleric and the Chief Imam of Ogbagi Akoko, in Akoko Northwest local government area of Ondo State, Sheikh Adamson Arikeuyo, has counseled Nigerians to look for and seek support for credible leaders and ignore cash and carry office seekers.

Sheikh Arikewuyo gave this advice at Ogbagi Akoko in a chat with newsmen on Friday.

He appealed to Nigerians to look for corrupt free politicians that can put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden through welfare policies.

The cleric advised the federal government to reintroduce a body that will control the daily galloping inflation that made prices of commodities unstable in the country.

Adamson said the inflation trend has brought untold hardship to majority of Nigerians because as a result of the ever rising cost living.

He appealed to youths and able bodies in the country to embrace farming as part of efforts to rebrand and rebuild the ailing economy.

The muslim leader urged Nigerians to always offer objective advice to our leaders and pray for good governance.
