Governor Aiyedatiwa, before the sermon, led the assembly in Bible reading from Psalms 95:1-3, highlighting verses that underscored the importance of praise and worship.

Prior to the Governor’s speech, Pastor Kayode Ogundele, the Head of Service for civil servants, took the stage, reflecting on the achievements of the previous year.

He cited accomplishments such as providing palliatives and buses to ease movement for civil servants amidst the fuel subsidy removal, ensuring prompt and full salary payments without the previous percentage-based remuneration.
