Ondo State Commissioner for youth and Sports Development, Mr Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye has expressed optimism that Sunshine Stars will survive their current situation in the Nigeria Premier Football league.

He stated this after Sunshine Stars played a goalless draw against Bendel Insurance in the matchday 33 of the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL decided at the Ondo State Sports complex, Akure .

“No goal was recorded in both half of the entertaining encounter, with Sunshine Stars ruin many goal scoring chances”.

Sunshine Stars are currently 16th on the league table and will lock horns against Gombe United next weekend.

According to him, “I’m confident that Sunshine Stars will not relegate, we still have more matches ahead, we are moving on”.
