2024: Ondo in safe hands– Aiyedatiwa Partners

A grassroots political organization with membership across the 203 wards of Ondo state, the Aiyedatiwa Partners, has vowed to campaign vigorously for the emergence of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the April 20 governorship primary election in the state.

Director General of the group, Ola Oguntimehin, who made the declaration at a technical session with the governor in Akure on Thursday, said ‘Aiyedatiwa Partners’ was founded to promote good governance and purposeful leadership as exemplified by the governor.

According to him, “Since our group was inaugurated on January 7, 2024, we have lived up to its core mandate of championing good governance, through the people-oriented programmes of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa”

Oguntimehin revealed that the group has confidence in the Aiyedatiwa-led administration and will want it progress on the path for another four years. He said the state has been peaceful since the governor assumed office.

“We are confident that Ondo state will continue to shine with Governor Aiyedatiwa at the helm of affairs for the next four years. Ondo is definitely in safe hands. We are also sure of victory with the array of committed party members who are driving the aspiration of our governor ” He assured.

Chairing the session on behalf of the governor, Olayide Adelami, Ondo state deputy governor, said he has confidence in the capacity of the leadership and members of ‘Aiyedatiwa Partners to deliver on its mandates.

Aiyedatiwa Partners comprised of high-profile government officials and political heavyweights, such as the state commissioner for energy and mineral resources, Rasak Obe, commissioner for lands and housing, Akinwumi Sowore, commissioner designate, Adewale Akinlosotu, Special Adviser to the governor on education, Olawunmi Ilawole, former council chairmen, among many others.
