Leaders and members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Owo and Ose local government areas of Ondo state have rallied support for  Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa ahead of the November governorship election in the state.

Addressing party leaders and supporters at an event in Owo to openly declare their support for Aiyedatiwa, the Deputy Governor, Dr Olayide Adelami who is also the son of the soil described his boss as a focused and committed leader whose deliberate policies and programmes to improve the socio economic well-being of the state cut across all sectors.

The venue of the event was filled to capacity as the party leaders and members  with a rousing welcome received the Deputy Governor.

He urged members of the party to go into every nook and cranny of the State and canvass support for the Governor.

 Adelami who thanked the people of the areas for their unalloyed support, also said they must ensure that the support for the Governor is massive to ensure continuity of his lofty policies and programmes.

The Deputy Governor tasked the APC leaders and members on grassroots mobilisation, stressing that, there is no vacancy in Alagbaka Government House.

In his remarks, a chieftain of APC, Femi Idris, appreciated members of the party for their turn out stressing that, the Deputy Governor, played a significant role in ensuring that the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu emerged victorious in his second term.
