26 bag First Class at OAUSTECH maiden convocation

Twenty-six out of 982 graduands of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) Okitipupa have graduated with First Class during the school’s maiden convocation ceremony.

The best-graduating student, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Akinyemi, thanked God for seeing her through her journey at the University.

The Pro-Chancellor/ Governing Council of the University, Professor Akinbo Adesomoju, charged the graduating students to make impact in the development of the country.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Temi Ologunorisa, said the students have the skills  required to change the world positively.

“The University holds you in high esteem. As you break the ground, stay connected and never forget to contribute to your alma mater,” he said.

He appreciated the state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his support and the opportunity given to him to serve as the 4th Substantive VV of the University.

He thanked the Governing Council of the University and the unions on campus (ASUU, NASU, SSANU, and NAAT) for their support.

Also, the Student Union President, Comrade Olumide Faluyi, hailed Governor Akeredolu’s administration for the massive infrastructure provided for the University.
