No fewer than 2918 staff of the Ondo State Hospitals’ Management Board(HMB) took part in the just concluded promotion interview for health workers in the state.

The board’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Niran Ikuomola disclosed this while speaking with The Hope in Akure on Monday.

According to him, the exercise which was conducted by the board aimed at elevating the members of staff that are due for promotion.

He noted that both junior and senior staff of the board took part in the exercise and added that it cut across  all cadres.

His words; “2207 junior staff were on ground for the interview and for the senior staff, we had 711 but only 672 came for it while 39 were absent.”

It was gathered that promotional interview was last held for staff of the board in October 2017.
