No fewer than 3100 staff of Ondo State Local Government Service Commission across the state yesterday sat for 2023 promotion exercise.
The promotion exercise was conducted simultaneously at various centers across the state.
Addressing the candidates in Akure South Local Government Secretariat, Chairman of Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), Mr Femi Idris charged them to see the exercise as a step forward in their career.
He urged them to be committed and be dutiful.
He thanked the state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his commitment to workers’ welfare, saying the governor has changed the fortune of workers in the state for good with the regular payment of salaries.
The Head of local government Administration, Akure South Local Government, Mr Debo Olajide commended the government for giving approval for the promotion exercise.
