3,194 Ondo workers for promotion interview

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has approved the commencement of promotion interview for 3,194 civil servants eligible for promotion in 2022.
The State Head of Service, Pastor Adeniran Adeyemo made this known while addressing the eligible officers at the State Secretariat in Akure to flag-off the exercise.
He commended Akeredolu despite the dwindling economy of the state.
Adeyemo noted that Governor Akeredolu has continued to demonstrate his commitment to the welfare of Workers since assumption of office through promotion of Officers as and when due, regular payment of salary, provision of Housing and Car loans to augment their financial needs and cushion the effect of the increasing cost of living.
He enjoined all Public Servants in the state to reciprocate the Governor’s gesture being diligent in their duties, eschew fraudulent practices and continue to adhere to the ethics of civil service rules for excellent service delivery.
Earlier in her remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Department of Establishment and Training, Mrs Olufunke Dare-Atunse charged eligible Officers to print their bio-data from the Public Service Personnel website and attached necessary documents that would make the exercise seamless and concluded within the scheduled time.
She appreciated the Governor for approving early commencement of the exercise and also with the necessary financial backing as against what obtains in some other states of the country.
