32 Artillery Brigade Commander pledges enhanced synergy with Ondo security agencies

To bolster security and safeguard lives and property in Ondo State, the Commander of the 32 Artillery Brigade, Nigerian Army (NA), Brigadier General Justin Ifeanyi, has underscored the importance of strengthening collaboration and synergy among security agencies in the state.
The Army boss made this assertion recently during his ongoing familiarisation tour of heads of security agencies in Ondo State.
This was disclosed to The Hope Metro by the Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, 32 Artillery Brigade, Major Njoka Irabor.
While visiting the Department of State Services (DSS) Ondo State Command, the Commander noted that the 32 Artillery Brigade is committed to strengthening the already existing cordial relationship and synergy with other security agencies in the state, which he described as a key factor in combating insecurity.
He further emphasised that “the working relationship between the 32 Artillery Brigade and the DSS Ondo State Command in the past has always been cordial.”
Brigadier General Ifeanyi reiterated the need for all security agencies in the state to come together and collaborate in the interest of national security.
He also expressed profound gratitude to the DSS Director and his management team for the warm reception accorded him.
In his response, the Director of DSS, Ondo State Command, Mr Tunde Adefolurin, appreciated the Commander for the visit and assured him of his willingness to cooperate and collaborate with the Nigerian Army and other security agencies in the state.
The DSS Director pledged to translate his wealth of experience into action and maintained that the DSS in Ondo State would always work closely with the Brigade, particularly in intelligence sharing.
He noted that this would effectively prevent all forms of criminal activities and enhance the collective fight against insecurity in the country.
In a related development, Brigadier General Ifeanyi also paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Ondo State Command, where he was received by the State Commandant, Joshua Oluyemi Ibiloye.
Speaking during the visit, Brigadier General Ifeanyi stated that the purpose of his visit was to familiarise himself with key security partners in Ondo State, such as the NSCDC.
He stressed the need for all security agencies to work as a team to achieve maximum success in the interest of national security.
In response, the State Commandant of the NSCDC commended the efforts of the 32 Artillery Brigade in fostering synergy with other security agencies in the state.
He assured that the NSCDC would continue to maintain a cordial working relationship with the Brigade to enhance the security of lives and property, as well as to protect critical infrastructure.
Brigadier General Ifeanyi also visited the Comptroller of the Nigerian Immigration Service and the Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Ondo State Command, where he similarly sought their unwavering support and cooperation.
Highlights of the visits included the exchange of souvenirs, signing of the visitor’s register, and group photographs.
