The Chairman of the Third Anniversary Committee and Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Niyi Adebayo, has expressed profound appreciation to the people of Ekiti State for their unwavering support, understanding and cooperation with the administration of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji over the past three years.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, to commence activities marking the governor’s third anniversary, Adebayo recalled that three years ago, the people of Ekiti state entrusted Governor Oyebanji with a mandate to deliver inclusive development, uphold good governance and restore public confidence in leadership.
He said, “Today, we stand at a significant milestone, not just to reflect on how far we have come, but to celebrate what we have achieved together as a government and as a people.”
Adebayo described the administration’s achievements as the outcome of deliberate planning and strategic development aimed at strengthening the state’s economy and infrastructure base.
He lauded Governor Oyebanji’s visionary, value driven and pragmatic approach to governance, which, according to him, has translated lofty aspirations into tangible results across the state.

Five fully renovated and equipped general hospitals are scheduled for inauguration during the anniversary celebrations.
He also cited advancements in agriculture, with renewed attention to rural roads and food security; strategic investments in electrification, security, and technology; as well as strengthened social investment programmes that benefit pensioners, the elderly and vulnerable households.
Outlining the line-up of anniversary activities, Adebayo disclosed that the week-long celebration would feature the inauguration of completed projects across the state including roads, hospitals, dormitories and electrification projects alongside a State of the State Address by the governor before the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
Other events include special engagements with key groups such as public servants, pensioners, and the elderly; an interfaith thanksgiving programme featuring Jumat prayers, a church service, and an evening of praise; as well as the unveiling of new initiatives aimed at propelling the state to greater heights.
