A clergyman, Pastor Joshua Alowolodu has called on political office holders and other well meaning individuals to always remember to give back to the communities that made them.

The pastor, who is the Irele Zonal Superintendent of the Christ Apostolic Church, C.A.C, made the call in  his sermon at a service to dedicate a church building donated to C.A.C, Oke-Iye, Kiribo in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State by the  state Deputy Governor, Hon. Agboola Ajayi.

Describing Hon. Ajayi as a vessel that God had prepared to build a house for Him like the biblical King Solomon, the pastor expressed delight that the Deputy Governor did not forget the church he attended in his childhood.

While urging the congregation to make judicious use of the building and the equipments donated along with it, Alowolodu said many more of such benefits could be achieved should the church be more fervent in their service to God.

The donor, Hon. Ajayi, in his remarks described the successful completion of the church building as a dream come through, saying it has been his life long aspiration to build a house for God.

Using the occasion to thank God for his fiftieth birthday coming up the following day, Ajayi said with all that God had done for him, he is spurred to serve Him more.

He also thanked the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN for all his supports and the healthy relationship that exist between them.

The occasion featured special prayers session for the state, Nigeria and the leaders.
