The Ondo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Aminu Takuro has again rated Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko as the best state University in Nigeria.
Takuro stated this last Saturday while speaking during the exhibition of students of Master’s in Public Administration from the Institute of Part-Time Studies of the University held at the Adegbemile Cultural Center in Akure.
The central theme of the event is the playlet of Comparative Public Administration class with the theme “The Environment of Public Administration in Nigeria” where the students demonstrated the impact of the cultural environment on Public Administration.
Commenting on the playlet, Takuro noted that Adekunle Ajasin University is indeed an assembly of intellectuals with the ability to apply classroom teachings to the real world.
“No one can deny the fact that Adekunle Ajasin University is the best state institution in the nation. I want to particularly commend the Institute of Part-Time Studies for the great job they are doing as headed by Professor Bayo Fasuwon.
“AAUA has showcased excellence across the nation. I want to particularly appreciate the participants of today’s playlet for submitting themselves to the school authority despite their status in society.”
He assured the institution of the continual support of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and the continual support of the Ondo State government.
Speaking earlier, the director of, the Institute of Part-Time Studies, Professor Bayo Fasuwon hinted that the major objective behind the establishment of the institute is to fill up the deficiency in the state civil service and across the nation.
He reiterated the commitment of the institution to upholding the tenants behind its establishment.
