AAUA continues search for missing student

As efforts were intensified to recover a student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Miss Doyinsola Motunrayo Boluwaji, a final year student of the Department of Religious and African Studies, who was recently swept away by flood, the Management of the institution has again visited the searching teams.
The teams which consisted of the Ondo State Government’s recruits, local divers, and the University’s staffers, are led by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Admin.), Prof. Olugbenga Ige.
The Management, while appreciating the efforts of the searching crews, noted that University Management would leave no stone unturned in the search of the missing student.
Prof. Ige said, “As a University that prioritizes the wellbeing and lives of its students and staff, we are not going to relent in our searching efforts of the flood victim who happened to be our student who is still missing after the flood disaster.
Addressing the Management team, driver of the excavator, Engr. Peter Pafi, said although the crews have covered a long distance of search, “We are hoping that the victim could still be found.”
In the entourage of the Management team to the dregs of the watercourse were the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Francis Gbore; the University Librarian, Dr. Rotimi Egunjobi; Dean of Student Affair, Dr. Olusegun Owolewa, among other top officers of the University.
