All is now set for the  matriculation of new students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, for the 2018/2019 academic session.

The usually brief ceremony is expected to hold at the University Multipurpose Hall from 9.00am on Thursday June 13, 2019.

No fewer than 5,000 students who scaled admission hurdles out of the over 20,000 who applied, are expected to take the matriculation oath which would be administered by the Acting Registrar, Mr Opeoluwa Akinfemiwa.

In a statement by the school which was signed by its Public Relations Officer (PRO),Mr Dupe Balogun, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Igbekele Ajibefun will preside over the ceremony and is expected to use the occasion to reel out what the university expects from the students and what the institution will offer to make learning and teaching easier for them.

Meanwhile, the citadel of learning is now bubbling with life since Monday as students have resumed and are settling down on campus following the announcement of resumption from the mid-semester break.

The matriculating students cut across the six faculties in the university.
