AAUA shut indefinitely

Following the protest by students of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko over the death of some of them in an accident caused by a truck fully loaded with bags of cement earlier this morning, the authorities of the school have closed down the institution.
In a circular by the Acting Registrar of the tertiary school, Opeoluwa Akinyfemiwa, the Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Ige on behalf of the Senate of the school, has directed that the University be closed down with immediate effect.
The directive advised all students to vacate the campus by 6:00 pm on Sunday,24th, January, 2021.
