AAUA wins national quiz competition

The Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Campus Journalists(NUCJ) has won the National Quiz Competition, The Hope has gathered.
The quiz competition was part of the three-day activities mapped out for the 2019 National Convention held in Abeokuta.
The competition was held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat, Abeokuta at the weekend .
Seven chapters participated in the competition where AAUA won with 13points, FUOYE came second with 11points and Bayero University came third with 10points.
Other results gathered are Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo (AAPOLY) with 9 points Federal Education College with 5 points Moshood Abiola Polytechnic with 4points and Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) with 3points.
The General Secretary of NUCJ AAUA, Collins Ojiehanor represented the chapter .
The National President of NUCJ, Joshua Oloyede congratulated AAUA and urged the institution to keep the flag flying.
An award was presented to the winner.
