Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA) would not be offering Mass Communication in the next academic session, The Hope has reliably learnt.
An indication to this effect was contained in a statement by the institution’s Acting Registrar, Opeoluwa Akinfemiwa.
The statement further advised students who chose AAUA to study the course to change to another desirable one for which they are qualified.
It was also gathered that courses like Accounting Education, Philosophy and Religious Studies were affected by the same development.
The registration for the online screening exercise commences on Wednesday, 12th August, 2020. Candidates are advised to provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers (without DND ”DO NOT DISTURB”). The University will not take responsibility for failure to get information as a result of invalid email addresses and non-functional phone numbers.
“Candidates who applied to study Mass Communication in AAUA during UTME are advised to change to other relevant courses/programme compatible with their JAMB and O’ Level subjects as AAUA will not be offering Mass Communication during the 2020/2021 Academic session.
