More facts emerged yesterday over the alleged camping and rescue of 77 persons at an underground chamber of the Whole Bible Believer Church popularly known as “Ondo Church” in Ondo town.
The Hope gathered that the founder of the church had been chased away over some unfounded allegations before Pastor David Anifowose took over the church.
It was learnt that the Pastor-in-charge, Anifowose had earlier been arraigned in court over alleged anti-social behaviour and unwarranted keeping of children in his church.
Some residents who confided in The Hope could not hide their joy when the pastor and his team were arrested and the church sealed.
They revealed that the pastor had brainwashed his members, who in turn gets aggressive to members of the community.
They said when security operatives bursted the church, used condoms and other incriminating things were found in the church.
They described the church as a dangerous place which has been tearing families apart with their wired doctrines.
A neighbor described the teachings of the church as anti Christ.
