Adamawa, Delta Queens mourn Henrietta Ukwaige

Adamawa Queens Football club has commiserated with the entire Women Football Family over the demise of one of its key members, late Henrietta Ukwaige.
In a statement issued by the club’s Media Officer, Jawati Friday the management of the club described the incident as a big blow to football family, which Adamawa Queens are part of.
“We pray for God to console the immediate family of the decease, and the entire football fraternity.
“May God give the family the fortitude to bear the loss of late Henrietta Ukwaige and may her soul rest in peace.”
Meanwhile the Management and Players of Delta Queens Football Club have commiserated with the NWFL on the death of its member Henrienta Ukaigwe, describing the development as a huge loss and rude shock.
The Chief Executive Officer, Delta Queens FC, Henrienta Ehiabor reacting to the news of the demise of Henrietta Ukaigwe, said the female football icon was a Journalist and football administrator Per excellence who carried out all assigned duties with Commitment, Focus, disciplined and great level of professionalism.
She noted that the deceased wrote her name in gold in the canals of the Nigeria Women Football league as a great administrator and female football advocate and journalist as a board member of the Nigeria Women Football League and for that, will be remembered in the history of the Nigeria women’s football.
The CEO, Delta Queens FC added that the death of the football icon is a bitter reality that the Nigerian football family especially the female league will have to accept overtime as no one can question God and prayed God for the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
