Adeboye’s visit, divine blessing for Ekiti – Oyebanji

By Victor Akinkuolie, Ado-Ekiti

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has described the visit and prayers of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), as a harbinger of blessings for the state.

The governor, speaking during the RCCG programme tagged Light Up Ilogbo in Ilogbo Ekiti, noted that Pastor Adeboye’s presence would positively impact the state’s fortunes. The event coincided with the church’s annual December programme, Let’s Go A-Fishing.

Addressing journalists after the programme, Oyebanji hailed Adeboye’s visit as timely, describing it as a divine gift to Ekiti residents as the new year approaches.

“Well, like he said during his sermon, he has brought good news to us in Ekiti State, and the programme is titled Light Up Ilogbo Ekiti. I have absolute confidence in God that it is not only Ilogbo that will experience the light, but the whole of Ekiti will experience it,” Oyebanji said.

He added, “And this is a very good Christmas gift for us as a state, for him to have stepped his foot on Ekiti soil, and I know that good news will follow all of us in Jesus’ name.”

The governor expressed optimism that the prophetic declarations made by the RCCG General Overseer would manifest in the lives of Ekiti citizens and the state government in the coming year.

Earlier in his sermon, Pastor Adeboye, who noted that it was his first visit to the town, declared that God had sent him to deliver a message of blessings, breakthroughs, and positive turnarounds for individuals, families, and the state.
