Adefiranye empowers constituents for sustainable livelihood

The member representing Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency in the House of  Representatives, Hon. Festus Ayodele Adefiranye, has been lauded for his empowerment initiatives and engagement policies which have transformed the great people of Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency to role models .

 All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo local governments made this assertion held at St Joseph Primary School, Odoodi, Okeigbo during the empowerment programme. They remarked that Hon.  Adefiranye’s leadership is often credited with laying the foundation for ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency’s transformation through infrastructure, education and empowerment initiatives.

Speaking with newsmen, Hon. Adefiranye noted that beneficiaries were drawn from all the twenty-one wards in Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency, appreciating his constituents for their maximum support.

According to the lawmaker, the empowerment programme was borne out of his desire to engender economic empowerment, capacity building and social inclusion.

Also speaking at the programme, the former Chairman, Ondo State Waste Management Authority, Shina Fadamitan, said when one reflects on the trajectory of Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency rebirth, the name of Hon. Festus Adefiranye constantly stands out.

Fadamitan thanked the lawmaker for the outstanding initiatives in empowering his constituents with valuable, useful items and financial supports which will promote massive engagement that will also eliminate poverty in the federal constituency.

Items distributed by Hon. Adefiranye to beneficiaries

The monitoring officer from National Institute For Educational Planning And Administration (NIEPA), Mr Bola Adejori described the empowerment programme as a remarkable event, noting that it will address economic challenges and improve the welfare of the people .

Items distributed  include generators, motorcycles, grinding machines, freezers, knapsack sprayers and sewing machines.

The beneficiaries appreciated the lawmaker. They said that the empowerment programme was significant in addressing unemployment and creating livelihoods for people, while also calling on other leaders across the state to emulate Hon. Adefiranye’s exemplary commitment to the welfare of the people.
