Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN, representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, has been recognised as Ondo State’s Outstanding Senator of the Year.

The award was conferred on him at an event held at Dejavu Hotel and Suites, Alagbaka, Akure.

The federal lawmaker was represented at the ceremony by his Senior Legislative Aide, Mr. Akinloye Bolarinde.

According to the organisers, Hero Magazine and the Nigerian Outstanding Leadership Award Platform, Senator Adegbonmire was selected for the honour due to his “striking activities of hard work, development initiatives, tenacity of purpose, philosophy of giving back to society, thereby making him a worthy ambassador of the state.”

Other recipients of awards at the event included the state governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who was named 2024/2025 Ondo State Man of the Year and South-West Governor of the Year.
