Odunayo Adekuoroye  wins her second World Championships bronze medal in 57kg after defeating Anastasia Nichita of Moldova 10-0 via technical superiority.

Odunayo Adekuoroye lost her semifinal match by a 6-1 to Rusako Kawai (IJP).

 She  had earlier qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after defeating Sun Jong of Korea 12-2 in the quarter finals.

The World number three wrestler had won against Mathilde Riviere (Fra) 10-0 at the second round.

Odunayo also defeated Trang Nguyen (vie) 10-0 in the first round.

The Ondo born wrestler won bronze at the 2015 World Wrestling championships in Las Vegas, USA and silver at the 2017 World Championships in Paris, France beating the record of Ifeoma Ihenacho who won a double bronze at the 2009 and 2010 World Championships in Herning and Moscow respectively.

The Commonwealth champion will be looking to change the narrative of last world championship in Budapest, Hungary where she could not win a medal.

The 2019 Senior World Championship is holding in Nursultan, Kazakhstan.
