Adeleke inspects Ilesa road project, orders timely completion

By Michael Ofulue, Osogbo

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Wednesday, inspected the ongoing dualisation of the Palace–Brewery Junction Road in Ilesa, with a firm directive to the contractors to ensure quality execution and timely completion of the project.

During the unscheduled inspection, Adeleke expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far but urged the contractors to expedite action to meet the delivery timeline.

“I commend the pace of work, but I need you to move faster. The people of Ilesa are eager to start using this strategic road,” the governor stated while addressing the project handlers.

Surprised by the governor’s sudden visit, the project engineer provided an update on the work done so far, assuring that a significant section of the road would attain an appreciable level of completion by next month.

“We are adhering to the required standards and timelines. Your Excellency, we assure you that there will be no delays. The project will be delivered as scheduled,” the engineer affirmed.
