Adeleke mourns Ex-ICPC chairman, Justice Ayoola

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has mourned the passing of the former Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), Justice Emmanuel Ayoola.
Governor Adeleke stated that the demise of Justice Ayoola is a significant loss, not only to the Ayoola family of Ilesa but also to Osun State and the entire nation, adding that the late ICPC Chairman made Osun and Nigeria proud wherever he went in the world.
In a condolence message to the family issued by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the Governor described Justice Ayoola as a true patriot and a hero in the fight against corruption, whose legacy will endure forever.
“The passing of Justice Emmanuel Ayoola is a significant loss to us, not only to the Ayoola family of Ilesa but also to Nigeria and Osun State in particular.
“Justice Ayoola, through his work in the legal profession, made Osun and Nigeria proud wherever he went throughout his lifetime.
“He was a true patriot and a hero whose legacy will endure forever,” the Governor stated.
Governor Adeleke then prayed for the family, asking God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss and assuring them that they are not alone.
“I pray that God Almighty will console the family and grant them the strength to bear this loss. Rest assured that you are not alone.
“May the gentle soul of Justice Ayoola rest in perfect peace,” he added.
