Ondo State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Prof. Bayonle Ademodi has extolled the virtues of the retired Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Deji Ogunwolere as he bowed out of active service in the state.

While commending the retired PS for his hardwork, he urged workers in the ministry to take a cue from his exemplary leadership qualities.

The Commissioner who was represented by the Director of Finance and Administration in the Ministry, Mr Kunle Ajibade stated this during a sendforth ceremony organized for the retired permanent secretary in Akure.

He described Ogunwolere as a diligent man, who ran an open door administration, saying “Both the senior and junior workers of the ministry are free to walk into his office at will, I wish him happy retirement in good health.”

Also speaking, the Director, Special Duties on Bitumen Project, Mr Obafemi Ehinmero described the celebrant as an unassuming personality, a man of peace and a very considerate person.” He is never a greedy man, he always put everybody into consideration in whatever decision he wants to take and very contented.”

Staff and Family members that graced the ceremony equally testified to the kind gesture of the retired Permanent Secretary as they described him as a father and role model.

In his response, Mr Ogunwolere appreciated the staffs of the ministry and his family for celebrating him, saying he is retiring from service, but not from the world. “If there is need for my help and  advice, I am still available to render it for the uplift of human capacity in the ministry and the state at large.”
