It is indeed a thing of joy for every parent to witness important ceremonies in the lives of their children, and so was the case of Deputy Director of Information Service, Mr Ayodele Adewumi Johnson, whose son, Adesola Adewumi hooked his hearthrob on November, 13, 2020.
The wedding ceremony was held at Akure South registry and was attended by eminent people in the society.
In her words, the coordinator of the registry, Mrs Bamidele Olusola, said marriage is an institution ordained by God that must be respected by both parties.
“Marriage is ordained by God. Christian believes that marriage is a gift from God at creation and a means of grace in which man and woman become one in heart, mind and body .”
She enjoined the couple to respect their marriage vows and put God first in whatever decision they take.
According to the bride’s father, former chairman of Odigbo Local Government, Hon. Prince Olu Falolu, appreciated God for making the day a reality saying “I’m happy that my daughter has finally chosen the man of her choice, and they have accepted whom she brought”.
He said both parents will allow the couple to live their lives as they have chosen, saying they will be praying for them.
The groom’s father, Mr Ayodele Adewumi Johnson urged the couples to emulate godly virtues in terms of keeping their marriage and advised them to respect each other.
The couple, Mr and Mrs Adesola Adewumi, appreciated Almighty God for their union, saying that they are the best for each other praying that God should bless their marriage.
