Adetimehin hails Aiyedatiwa, Oke reconciliation

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Mr. Ade Adetimehin, has highlighted the significance of the reconciliation between Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the party’s governorship aspirant, Chief Olusola Oke.

He described it as a major achievement for the party and a positive development for Ondo State in preparation for the 2024 governorship election.

Adetimehin who made the remark while speaking with journalists, commended Chief Olusola Oke for his maturity and composure, emphasizing that this gesture would strengthen and unify the APC.

He underscored Oke’s commitment to the party’s success and noted that merging party structures was aimed at advancing the party’s agenda.

Expressing gratitude to party members for their support during and after the primary election, Adetimehin assured Oke’s supporters of fair treatment and emphasized their importance within the APC.

He encouraged other aggrieved party members and aspirants to follow Oke’s example of dedication and remain with the APC.

Regarding suspended party members, Adetimehin announced their immediate reinstatement and urged them to avoid actions contrary to the party’s interests.

He reassured the people of Ondo State of the APC’s commitment to addressing state and national challenges as they prepare for the November 16, 2024 governorship election
