The authorities of Adeyemi College of Education Ondo, has announced plan, to conduct online matriculation ceremony, for newly admitted students, for the 2019/ 2020 academic session August 4, 2020.
This was contained in a statement released by the institution’s Information and Public Relations Unit.
In the statement entitled : ” e-Matriculation ceremony information to all freshmen”, the College advised the students to participate in the exercise by ” joining a Zoom meeting after registering with the link https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwrce2rqzsvGdZxHqxwo2qYUB2DmUW6Avd.
In addition, the statement further stated that ” only NCE 1, Degree 1 and Degree 2 ( Direct Entry) freshmen, are strictly allowed to register for the ceremony”, warning that ” any unacceptable JAMB registration number, will be removed and barred from joining”.
For all eligible students participating in the ceremony, the statement advised them to indicate their surname (last name), JAMB registration number, phone number as well as the programme of their choice (NCE or Degree UTME).
Similarly, the statement informed the students that a ” live broadcast of the ceremony, shall be streamed on the College’s approved YouTube, Adeyemi College of Education Television( ACETv) and Facebook.
In addition, it enjoined the students to start the process of registration from Wednesday 15th July, 2020, while they would embark on the downloading of the matriculation oath, on the day of the ceremony, by going to the college website, www.aceondo.edu.ng, to perform the exercise.
It added that while filing the matriculation oath, the students should ensure that they ” fill, sign as appropriate ( not using digital signature) and scan the form ( in PDF Format) immediately after the matriculation and send to [email protected]”
The statement further enjoined the students to scan the matriculation oath form after the exercise and send to appropriate quarter, not later than Friday 7th August, 2020, warning that ” any form sent after the deadline will not be treated”.
Similarly, the statement advised all candidates who wishes to participate in the matriculation ceremony, to pay all appropriate tuition fee, stating that anyone found to have flouted the directive, would not be allowed to take part in the exercise.
