The Pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, has called for greater national unity while expressing support for President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies, stating that his administration is on the right path to repositioning Nigeria.

Afenifere’s National Leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, made this known in a congratulatory message to Tinubu on his 73rd birthday, issued through the organisation’s National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Jare Ajayi.

Fasoranti acknowledged the challenges facing the nation but expressed confidence in Tinubu’s leadership to navigate the country towards economic stability and growth.

“As Nigeria undergoes critical economic reforms, we believe your leadership will guide the nation to greater prosperity, fostering unity and sustainable development,” Fasoranti said.

He commended Tinubu’s long-standing dedication to democratic principles and nation-building, highlighting his progressive policies from his tenure as Lagos State governor.

“The executive committee and members of Afenifere stand with you in your quest to reposition Nigeria for a brighter future,” he added.

Fasoranti further urged Nigerians to support the government’s economic and security initiatives, stressing that collective efforts were needed to build a stronger nation.

“The resilience and commitment of your administration will soon yield positive results, and we urge all Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support,” he noted.

He concluded by praying for wisdom, strength, and good health for the President, expressing hope that his tenure would bring about lasting transformation in the country.
