As part of its efforts to meaningfully engage the youth, the Ages FC based at Ijapo estate, Seven Aside Football Competition will kick off tomorrow.
In a statement made available to newsmen by the team’s coordinator, Femi Atolagbe the competition will feature four teams, namely; Abiola Babes, Julius Berger, Leventist and Iwuanyanwu Nationale.
The grassroots football tourney will be staged at the Ijapo/ Housing field, Akure the state capital.
The statement added that the purpose of staging the competition was to showcase the talents that abound in Ijapo axis and Akure metropolis.
“It’s our little way of contributing to the development of football at the grassroots and also to keep the youth busy going into Easter holiday,” the statement concluded.
