Settlers of Ago Ireti have felicitated with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his inauguration for a second term as the governor of Ondo State, expressing optimism for continued development under his leadership.

In a statement, the spokesperson for the settlers, Mr Salaudeen Adeyemi, lauded the governor for his contributions to the community and the state at large.

He further prayed for divine wisdom and guidance for Aiyedatiwa as he steers the affairs of the state for another four years.

However, the settlers called on the state government to address the lingering issue of unpaid monthly stipends, which, according to them, have been withheld since October last year.

“We appeal to the government to continue to provide for us. We have children we care for. We appreciate the efforts towards the settlement over the years,” Adeyemi stated.
