AISA procures inputs for 2025 planting season

The Ondo State Agricultural Input Supply Agency (AISA) has procured agricultural inputs to meet the demands of the 2025 farming season.

The Administrative Secretary of the agency, Mr. Felix Akinyugha, disclosed this during an interview with The Hope, yesterday in Akure.

He said: “We have procured various agricultural inputs and distributed them to our Farm Service Centres across the state to ensure that farmers have access to genuine, affordable, and adequate agricultural inputs during the 2025 farming season,” he added.

He commended farmers for their continued patronage, attributing it to the agency’s supply of high-quality inputs at reduced costs, which have been made easily accessible.

“A sum of N7.5 billion has been set aside by the Ondo State Government for access by Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the agricultural sector, in addition to the regular 2025 approved capital budget for each MDA,” he added.

According to Akinyugha, the agency has submitted the prices of various agricultural inputs, including those not currently in stock, to the Ondo State Bureau of Public Procurement for benchmarking and government funding.

He encouraged farmers to visit their nearest Farm Service Centres for easy access to inputs to maximize their yields in the 2025 farming season.
