The Governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has commiserated with a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Muyiwa Adu, over the death of his father, Pa Joseph Oni Adu.

Pa Adu, of Urowo Quarters, Akure, died at the age of 94 years.

This is contained in a statement issued by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor on Monday.

Baba ‘Soja’, as he was fondly called by his family and admirers, started his eventful career as a teacher and later served in the Nigerian Army before he retired after many years of meritorious accomplishments.

Governor Aiyedatiwa said Pa Adu, a great man of honour and integrity, lived a meaningful and impactful life that his children must be proud of.

He added that Pa Adu’s life as a disciplinarian, a generous man, a community leader and a devout Christian is one worthy of emulation.

Governor Aiyedatiwa prayed to God to grant his family and loved ones the fortitude to bear the huge and irreplaceable loss.
