Aiyedatiwa reassures of good governance

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has announced his determination to pursue continuity, aiming to drive comprehensive development across all 18 local government areas of the state.
The governor stated this on Wednesday while addressing guests at the book launch titled: “The man Aiyedatiwa” courtesy of Ondo masses for Aiyedatiwa 2024, which took place at The Dome, Akure.
Aiyedatiwa further reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that all projects are diligently pursued for the betterment of the people.
The governor said; “With deep conviction, i want to assure the good people of ondo state that the momentum of positive change would persist, this is based on our administration’s steadfast commitment to advancing ongoing initiatives and introducing new strategies for sustainable development. Let there be no doubt, that our journey towards prosperity and well-being will endure. Every effort, every endeavor, will be directed towards the betterment of our communities and the upliftment of every citizen.”
He expressed his gratitude for the book written about his personality.
He said “Allow me to express my gratitude for this book that delves into my character; thank you. This moment marks a divine appointment for Ondo State, and it also highlights the importance of sustaining the progress we’ve initiated. My only request is the chance to carry forward the positive momentum. All I ask for is the opportunity to continue the good work we have started”
The Governor urged the group to prepare for the upcoming primary election, rallying them to support his candidacy
“I implore each of you to ready yourselves for the forthcoming primary election. I trust that everyone present holds membership cards in their respective wards. For those still uncertain, I urge you to persuade them, this is our moment to shine. Let it be known that Ondo State is Lucky.” He added
The book launch and fundraising event showcased the overwhelming support of the Ondo masses for Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership and vision for the state’s future.
At the event, the Governor was presented with a gift by veteran actor and lecturer, Pa Peter Fatomilola, who said he has been impressed with the leadership style of the Governor since coming into office.
Earlier in his address, Otunba Valentine Olaleye, the chairman of the event, reflected on the transformative leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa.
“As we gather here today, let us take a moment to reflect on the impact of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership and the positive changes that have been brought about under his administration. His tireless efforts and visionary approach have undoubtedly set a new standard for governance and have inspired hope and optimism for the future of our state”.
He then called on everyone to continue supporting Governor Aiyedatiwa in steering Ondo State towards a brighter and more prosperous future.
Also, Dr. Akeredolu O.N, the organizing Chairman, announced a groundbreaking initiative by “Masses for Aiyedatiwa 2024,” comprising 200 advocacy groups united in endorsing Governor Aiyedatiwa’s continuity beyond 2024.
He revealed plans to launch a dedicated blog platform titled “Lucky Aiyedatiwa 2024,” serving as a hub for campaign affiliates to share articles related to the Governor and the upcoming gubernatorial race in Ondo State.
Dr. Akeredolu detailed additional initiatives, including the production of an audiovisual album for distribution, complimentary medical outreach programs, and surgical interventions, all aimed at enhancing the well-being of the people of Ondo State, especially the elderly.
These endeavors, Dr. Akeredolu emphasized, would be carried out without financial burden on Governor Aiyedatiwa, underscoring the unwavering support and allegiance of “Masses for Aiyedatiwa 2024.” He affirmed Governor Aiyedatiwa as the most suitable candidate for the upcoming elections, whether within the APC primary or the general election.
