The Ondo State chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has commended the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, for once again fulfilling his pledge to support widows of deceased journalists through the NAWOJ Education Support Fund.
Now in its fifth edition, the initiative aims to relieve the financial burden of educating children left behind by late journalists , a gesture Prince Adeniyan has sustained with remarkable consistency over the years.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairperson, Comrade Tola Gbadamosi, and the Secretary, Comrade Oluwatosin Ighoteguono, the association praised the CPS for his compassion and generosity, describing him as “a rare public servant whose empathy extends far beyond his official duties.”
“On behalf of the association and the beneficiaries, we sincerely appreciate Prince Adeniyan for keeping to his word. We pray that God continues to bless him,” the statement added.
